Our purpose is to help people through short periods of crisis (including benefit delays, sanctions or changes, low or delayed wages, refused hardship payments, debt, homelessness). We deliver food parcels to Cleckheaton, Scholes, Hightown, Gomersal, Liversedge, Heckmondwike, Roberttown Birkenshaw and Oakenshaw. We only provide deliveries; please do not come to our address for parcels.
You can contact us below by phone (call or text), Facebook Messenger or email, and you will hear back from us by the morning of the next day the food bank is open (Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning, whichever is soonest). Include your phone number so that we can call you to arrange the delivery.
When we call you, a volunteer will fill in a referral form with you. We will need to know: how many adults and children are in your household, any dietary requirements (e.g. halal, vegetarian), any disabilities/long-term health conditions, what cooking facilities you have (fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave), and why you need our help now. We aim to provide enough food in the parcels for 7 days.
Once you have completed the form, your parcel will be delivered on the next day the food bank is open. You must contact us before 12:00 on days we are open to receive a delivery on the same day.
